Weenie Con VII Memorabilia

The end of the year usually means kicking my brain to start dreaming up memorabilia ideas for next year's Weenie Con. The current state of my mind is eloquently described by Hedley Lamarr from the film Blazing Saddles:

"My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives."

Weenie Con VI Memorabilia Has Arrived!

After much plotting, scheming, and consulting with That Which Is Better Off Not Being Named... ...the Weenie Con VI memorabilia has arrived!

Appropriately excessive amounts of OOOing, AAAAHing, drooling, and MUH-HA-HA-HAing ensued - followed by a wild frenzy of banishing the stuff into nifty gift packaging.

Graphical Editor

I've added a graphical editor to the site, as if there aren't enough ways for people to cause problems. :)

This will make it easier to add things like links, insert images, add text formatting and other fun stuff.

Outsmarting the Opposition

From my daily calendar:

In 1798 England's Bishop of Durham took the floor in the House of Lords and issued a grave warning to the nation: French agents were attempting to undermine British society by smuggling ballet dancers into the country.

The ballerinas couldn't have done any worse against the British than the French army did.

Columbus Airshow

Scott and I travelled in a whirl wind tour to Columbus Ohio last weekend to attend "The Gathering of Mustangs and Legends". This was an airshow that focused on P51 Mustangs and the WWII vets who flew them or worked on them.

Robo Rally Reissued

I was at the local gaming store last night to meet my sister-in-law so she could give me my birthday present (yes, my birthday was back in February), a gift certificate for said store. I saw that they had a copy of Robo Ralley for sale. It turns out it was a reissue of the game, with some noticable differences. The figures are plastic that has been painted silver, they've modified the maps (although I don't know what they've changed) and there was a general difference in the look of the game.

Photo Gallery for Weenie Con 2007

Finally got the photo gallery set up for this years Con. Too bad it's a week late. :) I've created folders for all of the games that were played. If anybody has any photos that they want to upload please feel free to do so. Let me know if there are any questions.
