Weenie Con VIII Memorabilia

Plans for this year's memorabilia have gone from vague to sketchy to dodgy to perplexing ... then straight on to "cast in concrete".

WC VII - Day Four

Monday began with a "quick" game of Bang! between Jeff, CJ, little CJ and Scott. Sheriff CJ killed outlaw Jeff while he was locked up in jail, not much honor there, and then renegade Scott blew himself up with a stick of dynamite.

WC VII - Day Three

Sunday began with a pair of games, Pandemic and Dominant Species. Felix, little CJ and Scott played Pandemic while CJ, Mike, Jeff, Paul and Stephen tackled Dominant Species.

WC VII - Gratitude and Platitude

As usual, the list of folks who helped to make Weenie Con VII special is a long one.

First and foremost is Jen, who once again coordinated food for the ravenous hordes. The lunches and dinners were delicious, nutritious, and plentiful. No one went away hungry. Thank you Jen!!!!!

WC VII - Day Two

Ironclads was the day long game of choice this year and opened Saturday’s gaming. The rebels (CJ and Stephen) were trying to break the CSS Stag blockage runner out of Charleston harbor on a dark night in 1863, with a pair of ironclads as escorts.

WC VII - Day One

The first day of festivities kicked off for the second straight year with Battlestar Galactica. The characters were Kara "Starbuck" Thrace (CJ), Tom Zarek (little CJ), Chief Tyrol (Jen), Apollo (Jeff), Lauren Roslin (Felix), and Helo (Mike).

Weenie Con VII Memorabilia

The end of the year usually means kicking my brain to start dreaming up memorabilia ideas for next year's Weenie Con. The current state of my mind is eloquently described by Hedley Lamarr from the film Blazing Saddles:

"My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives."
