WC VI - Day Four

Weenie Con VI wound down on Monday with a bit of lighter fare in Formula De.  The race was held at the Hochenheimring in the rain.  Slipping and sliding around the corners was the theme of the race.

8     Jen            Jen             Little CJ       Stephen (crash)

On lap 2, Jen ran over debris in turn 3, breaking her suspension and crashing.

Lap 3 saw a pair of crashes in the back of the field as the race wound down.  Stephen wrecked in turn 6 while little CJ went off course in the last turn.

CJ, little CJ, Jen and Felix all headed home early afternoon, so Scott, Jeff, Paul and Stephen took a side trip to Millenium Games.  Most came out of the store with a package of goodies to try during future Weenie Cons.

After returning home, two quick games of Pitch Car were tried to finish the weekend.  Some fancy flicking around the circuit gave Scott victories in both games.

One of the more dramatic moments came at the very end of the first game, when Stephen tried to snatch third place.  However, his car knocked Mike's ahead of him across the line, giving Mike the final spot on the podium.

Overall, it was a great weekend spent with a house full of friends.  Thanks to everyone for taking the time out of their busy schedules to attend.  Special thanks to Chef Jen for coordinating the food and cooking up such yummy meals.  Felix also helped out with extensive assistance both in planning and execution that is much appreciated.

The WC VI memorabilia of custom printed M&M's donated by Mike were a particular hit, and provided a good snack along the way.
